About this place
Located inside a multi-tenant building in Takadanobaba 4-chome, inside Kobo serves up distinctive pastas and Korean small plates rich in savory flavor. The noodle dishes stand out for their creative pairings, including a tomato-based cheese pasta topped with sweet-and-spicy sautéed webfoot octopus (jjukumi), and a rich pork galbi cream pasta.
Classic Korean favorites are well represented, from crisp seafood, vegetable, and kimchi jeon pancakes to comforting steamed dishes like fluffy volcano gyeran-jjim and molten cheese hot plates. Hearty soups such as seafood sundubu-jjigae, kimchi jjigae, and fish cake soup sit alongside drinking snacks like spicy whelk salad and sake-steamed mussels and clams.
To accompany the meal, the drink menu includes fresh draft makgeolli as well as black soybean makgeolli and toasty nurungji (scorched rice) makgeolli. With its compact, welcoming atmosphere and takeout options, the shop is equally handy for a relaxed dine-in meal or a quick meal to go.
